Microsoft activation in beta 3036

Sorry if this has been posted, but a search for "activation" in the Mac forum brought up a hundred or more posts.

This question affects both Windows XP Pro and Office 2003.

I know the instructions say to activate in Parallels first, to eliminate the activation issues.
BUT, what if one already has Boot Camp installed and activated?

When I use Parallels, I'm told my activations are currently maxed out. Is there a technical fix (perhaps in beta 3), or do I have to call Microsoft? If so, does anyone know if they are familiar with Boot Camp and Parallels, or will I have to spend an hour explaining the setup?

I installed this way. Bootcamp WinXP first, then beta parallels. There was no activation needed for WinXP or any other product which I had installed in bootcamp.
