The company I work for requires us to have Defender for Endpoints installed on our Mac's. I am using the latest build of both Mac OS Sonoma and Parallels Desktop. The virtual machines (Windows / Linux) all performed well prior to the A/V product install on the host OS, now that it is installed it takes forever to create / delete snapshots / start and shutdown the VM's. I have tried to set exclusions for both the 'Parallels Desktop' process, and any 'PRL' processes I can find as well as the folder path to the virtual machines and the /Applications/Parallels Desktop.app file / folder. I previously had Cisco AMP on the host OS and Parallels ran just fine with that A/V product but the combination of Defender for Endpoints / Parallels Desktop seems to have some issues when both are running. I have opened a case with both Parallels and Microsoft and both so far just point the finger at the other company (typical support these days).

Does anyone have any experience with these two products working together and if so have you found anything that helps? Thanks.
