Migrating from MBP with HDD to MBA with SSD

I migrated my MBP 13in to my brand new MBA 13in 2.13MHz 256G SSD and as usual when migrating, the .vpn file had to be copied manually over my network to the Parallels folder in the Library.
Problem aroused when I tried to start up the VPN.
Windows XP gets to the Welcome screen then goes to a blue screen with so much information it can't be read. I managed to read the part where it says the WinXP will not start to make sure my computer does not have any problems.
I deleted the vpn file and recopied the whole Parallels folder from the MBP library to the MBA Library. Still the same.
I would like to keep Windows XP and not "upgrade" to Windows 7.
I tried both HDD configuration in Parallels (IDSE and SCSI) and get more or less the same error message. Windows never gets to run.
How can I solve the problem before I run to Staples and get a brand new Windows 7 and install it from scratch after deleting the WinXp vpm for good?
 
What version of Parallels Desktop are you using?

Do you mean .pvm?

Check the permissions of the .pvm file and it's contents:

cd ~/Documents/Parallels
ls -ld *.pvm; ls -lRA *.pvm

Compare the results on both computers.

Does the .pvm work on the MBP if you copy it from the MBA back to the MBP?

Can you post a screen shot of the blue screen?

Yes I meant .pvm?
I'll check the permissions and try to copy back the file to MBP but it may take a few days 'till I get back on this. I need a laptop to go at a client's for most of next week.
Blue screen goes REAL fast. How can I stop it to get a screen shot?
 
I don't think you can get a screen shot if it goes away really fast. Maybe you could use a screen recording utility (QuickTime?) and create a movie. Then play it back frame by frame to see if it captured the blue screen. What happens after the blue screen goes away?
 
After the blue screen, Windows tries to restart then I get the Welcome page then the blue screen then... It does not stop if I don't stop it.
