Migrating to a new computer - need to move my parallels instance

Hi everyone,

I have a Macbook Air running Parallels, and just purchased a new computer. Is it possible to move my existing Virtual Machine to another computer?

I'm using Parallels Desktop 7 for Mac, and so I probably need to upgrade to the latest version as well.

Any help is greatly appreciated -Chris

Hi Chriscera,

Yes, you can transfer the Virtual Machine to another computer by moving the .pvm bundle using an external hard drive.
