migration of parallels to new Mac

after migrating the content of my hd from the old imac to my new one running with OS10.8.3 it is not possible to open parallels(no connection to parallels-service /8089). do I have to install parallels to the new computer again and whats happening in this case with my existing windows files & programmes?

Yes you have to reinstall Parallels, of course nothing happens to your files, the same way way that when you reinstall Office you dont' lose your Word documents.
