Mint not booting

Hi all. I'm trying to install Mint in Parallels. I used the Parallels interface to install Mint from an .ISO. It runs fine the first time, but then refuses to boot the second time. I'm noticing that the virtual machine is only 1.5MB, so the Mint OS is not being copied in.

Advice? Where am I going wrong?

Hello Eric,
Could you please let us know what is the version of Mint you were trying to install ? . What happens when you try to boot it for the second time, is there any error message, please provide us a screenshot.
 
I am having the same issue. Complete newbie here just trying to run Mint on my Mac. I downloaded the iso, chose New Virtual Machine, slid the iso onto the installation wizard, and the machine is created and linux runs. But it's not actually _installed_, it's just running off the iso. How to actually install the OS into the VM?
 
D'OH just answered my own question - look for the "Install Linux Mint" cd on the desktop in the Mint VM's window. :oops:
