Missing Control Center icons after upgrading to Big Sur

Same here. And, in case it helps anyone, all the same actions that may be taken via the icons, that are currently missing, are in the two-finger/right-click menu when clicking on a virtual machine name.

I also can confirm the version 16.1.1 (49141) fixes the problem with the icons.

Do users really have to pay for an upgrade to fix a problem in 15.1.5? This can't be a correct way to treat people that in the past have been loyal to Parallels.
