I'm running Parallels Desktop for Mac Version 17.1.1 (51537). My host is on macOS 12.2.1, and my guest is running macOS 12.2.

My guest doesn't have an internet connection for some reason, which sounds like this issue: https://kb.parallels.com/en/124537

But the instructions say to open virtual machine configuration, and, to my surprise, I can't!

My Parallels Control center looks like the attached screenshot. There's a power button, but no "configuration" gear. I viewed this KB article and none of the mechanisms for accessing machine configuration are working. https://kb.parallels.com/en/117287

Screen Shot 2022-03-07 at 3.46.15 PM.png What's happening here? How do I configure my macOS guest VM?

I have the same issue, the configuration button is missing for macOS guest VM. When I contacted their support, it seems the macOS with Apple M1 is not fully supported yet and it seems there are a lot of issues that Parallels didn't mention clearly. However, for the internet connectivity issue, you can refer to https://kb.parallels.com/128519 for a workaround they provided me. It worked for me.

I am having this problem right now, and can;t find the fix anywhere. I am at a hotel, so can't do BRIDGE Adapter (which os option 2 in the KB specific above). I need to do Option 1 for Shared. My main ager here is that this is NOT the same Shared network as what is used in the rest of my VM's, and there is no place inside of the prefs for this app to specificy this, or to test it.

My impression is that they are stumped, and unable to figure out a way past this hurdle. I IMAGINE they are working on it, because before too long, ALL Mac computers will be Apple Silicon, and if the Parallels offering is no better than all the free ones for running MacOS VMs theyre going to have a hard time maintaining market share if they can only offer an enhanced experience for Windows Vms.
