I realize this is a bit irrelevant for this site but I'd really be thankful for some advice from those who don't share my situation.
At the beginning of 2005 I got addicted to a MMORPG and played it continuously. I made good friends within the game and got even more into it. 3 months later I acquired some eq platinum (the currency of the in-game fantasy). I got sorta involved with with a lady I met online and we fell in love. But after a few weeks she quite playing the game and we've not spoke since.
What the hell happened? Anyone had this happen to them?
