Mountain Lion Dictation in Linux VMs with Parallels 8

I just installed Parallels 8 and am very impressed with the ML Dictation feature which is working perfectly in my Windows 7 VM.

However, it doesn't seem to work on a Linux Mint 13 VM. I can hear the beep sound associated with dictation starting but no icon appears on the screen, nor is any text generated.

Am I missing a setting or is this only available in Windows VMs in Mountain Lion?

Dictation feature is available for Windows Vm only.

Has this changed for Linux VMs under Parallels Desktop 9? That feature alone would be worth the upgrade cost to me.
