Mouse Arrow troubble

I have parallels running on my MacBook Pro, version 10.4.8

When running Windows Xp I there is some problem with the mouse arrow. Every time I click an object in Windows the arrow for my OS X machine pops up on the screen. So I will have two arrows running when I work in Xp on parallels, the Xp arrow, and the OS X arrow that is skewed to the side. What would be causing this?
 
You need to install the current version of Parallels tools. With your guest OS up and running, click on the VM dropdown to install Parallels tools. This should uninstall the current version of tools. When this is completed, reboot your OS and again click on the VM dropdown to install the current version of Parallels tools. Again, reboot and all should be well with your cursor.
