Mouse locked in parallel! please help?

ok so i downloaded the tiral version to see if it would work with the game "rift" since they have no mac version of the game. when i pull up windows xp i have for it and click any where in the window my mouse locks so i can not move or click anything unless i hit the unlock keys in which case still dont let me use the windows. and this also makes it so i can not instal the tool because i cant click in windows. how do i fix this

 

Possible Fix

If you have your mouse set to show "mouse trails", this will prevent you from freely moving to mac, or from mac to win.
