Move everything but windows with switch to mac?

Hi!

I´m new at this forum and have a question. My old PC have a corrupted win XP (starts whenever i wants) and i bought a new win 7 and Parallels switch to mac.
Is it possible to move standalone files/programs (MS Office etc) without moving win xp to my new Imac? Is there some "how to" guides for that? Anything i should think about before i start?

That's more like a "migrate from XP to Windows 7" question. Afaik there is no such upgrade path offered by Microsoft. Yes, you can move files, but because of the way that Windows applications are installed (registry and all) you won't be able to use any of your programs if you just manually copy all files. You'll need to install Windows 7, and then to install all your apps.
