Move Parallels 10 to another computer

Like many others who posted in this forum I would like to move my Parallels Desktop 10 to a new computer. The corresponding knowledge base article seems to describe this procedure only for newer releases as it works with entries from the menu that do not exist in Parallels Desktop 10.

Could someone please help me to deactivate my license key so that I can do a fresh install on my new Mac?

We have reset the activation key. Please follow the instructions below:
1. Quit Parallels Desktop, then try to activate after launching it again.
2. If you are still unable to activate, Open Terminal on the Mac and execute this command: prlsrvctl activate-license-online
Note: If you have macOS X Sierra or above, buy and use the latest version.
