Move Programs from VMware Fusion to Parallels

Hi there,

I hope this is a simple question. I have been using VMware Fusion and recently bought Parallel desktop (boy am I ever glad I did!). I have programs such as Quickbooks and other software on VMWare and I want to tranfer them to Parallel Deaktop. Is there a step by step procedure outlined anywhere that can guide me on how to do this?

Use the Parallels Desktop Help menu to read the "Opening an Existing Virtual Machine" section of the documentation.

The process involves opening your VMWare virtual machine in Parallels Desktop which will then convert it to a Parallels Desktop virtual machine.

The entire contents of the virtual machine's hard disk is transferred to the Parallels Desktop virtual machine. You can't transfer individual programs just like you can't do that on real PC's.
