Moving Parallels to New Computer

How hard is it to transfer Parallels, virtual machine and all, to a new machine? I'll be transferring all users, settings, and applications from the old Macintosh to the new one. I'm using Parallels 5.0, upgraded from 4.0 last year. I have the upgrade disk image file in a safe place, and the license key for the upgrade, but I cannot locate the original 4.0 DVD that I bought.

Will it be a problem to just install it on the new machine (or just work from the copy that transfers)? Will I need the original DVD? Anything else I need to know before I begin?
 
One would think, one would, that this would be a semi popular question. I know I certainly have it.

What is the procedure of moving from one Mac to another. Mine is getting long in the tooth and I have good backups from Time Machine. Is this all I would need to do? Restore from Time Machine or is there more to it? Google has, to date, for me, not provided an understandable answer.

Hi CharlesJ3. You can install and activate Parallels Desktop on the new Mac with the same license key and refer this article to transfer the virtual machine to a new Mac. Please make sure that Parallels Desktop version is compatible with macOS before installing on the new Mac.
