I'm using windows 7 and ms office 2010, and I want to keep using both without any updates, also expect both will work same as a day I paid for parallels.

Hello 500094., Kindly start the virtual machine and go to the top menu bar and click on actions, ACTIONS--> TAKE SNAPSHOTS, Let us ensure that Parallels Tools are properly installed. Please follow this article to install Parallels Tools. If you see reinstall or update Parallels Tools then kindly reinstall it.
