Multiple instances of Excel

Hi,

Each time I open an Excel file, a new instance of Excel is started. This makes it impossible to copy and move sheets between files. Same issue with running macros stored in one file on a separate file.

I've checked that Excel have the correct settings, I therefore believe this to be a parallels issue.

Running Build 8.0.18354 (Revision 823166; December 4, 2012) and Windows 8 and Office 2010

I had the same issue, it turned out that my Windows account get corrupted. Creating a new user account helped, so that was defiantly Windows who mesed up.

So create a new account (http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-vista/Create-a-user-account) and check, I believe this will resolve this Windows issue.
