In PD4.0 for mac, one you only have one PD icon for all vm's, regardless of how many are running.
This makes it somewhat restrictive to switch between more than one vm window The user has to use the Window option on menu bar (or ctrl-click the dock icon).
I always used to easily and quickly switch from multiple running vm's with version PD3.0 using Command > Tab in Finder, displaying one PD icon for EACH vm)
Why has parallels remove this...? They force you to use the menu.
At least keyboard shortcuts would be better (ie command-1 for vm1, command-2 for vm2... and so on)
