My parallels stopped working (claims trial ended) despite having a lifetime key

As title states my parallels stopped working (claims trial ended) despite having a lifetime key, when i enter the key from my invoice it says the key was used on a different account, which is strange as i only have one account and the only account its been used on is my account the account that im posting this from. So what is going on here
