I am not an experienced Windows user. However, I have had to purchase and install Vista in order to run our payroll software. So please bare with me and my inexperience using Vista.
I have the latest version of Parallels and Vista installed. At home and the office we have the same printer, a HP Color LaserJet 2840. Both printers are connected via Enet to a Wireless router (D-Link at home and a 2Wire at work). I was able to install the HP software and connect to the printer at home with no problems. However, I can't seem to connect to the office printer.
I'll go to the Vista Control Panels and select Add Printer. It gives you two options, one of which is to select a network printer. This is where it fails to recognize a printer on the network.
Can someone help me make the necessary changes and/or steps in order to get the office printer to be recognized so I can add it. Thanks!
