Need Restrictions Between OSX and XP

I'm using my Parallels with XP for work and don't want ANY communication or file sharing between the virtual machine. I've turned off application sharing, and also file sharing. However, if I drag a file from XP to OSX or OSX to XP, the file will still copy over to the other machine's desktop. Is there any way to prevent this from happening? I want my two machines completely separated.

I do have Intego Netbarrier V4 so if there is any way to restrict this while still maintaining web connectivity that would be great.

Coming from a Parallels newbie: have you tried dismounting the shared drive in XP?

I thought I had taken out the shared folders. How exactly do I remove the shared drive?
