I have regular problems with connectivity but ONLY when Parallels is running with a Windows 8 VM.
The problems occur on the host (MAC), NOT in the VM.

What happens is that the DNS resolution takes ages (well, 4-5 seconds); the transfer speeds are still the same, but going on a website is very slow before the page starts loading.

If I shut down parallels, it stops happening.
If I restart parallels, it comes again.
If I disable networking on the VM, it works properly.
I tried shared and bridged, it is the same result.
I tried to set the VM to use different DNS servers (my provider's, Google's, OpenDNS') and the result is the same.
If I put the VM to sleep, it works properly.
It happens while there is no networking use on the VM.

What should I look into? it's VERY frustrating!
