Networking between Guest and Host while offline

I have a web server on my Host OS (Mac), and want to access that from my Guest OS (Windows).
When I'm connected to the network, that works without problems. But when at a location where I don't have any internet connection, my host does not have an IP address, so I don't know how to reach it from my guest.
Any tips?

You could use these modes for your virtual machine network adapter:
1) Shared Networking mode - your host is also available from VM and has IP 10.211.55.2 by default
2) Host-Only Networking mode - your host is also available from VM and has IP 10.37.129.2 by default

Shared Networking is recommended.
