Networking on Android VM Parallels 9

I just installed the stock Android VM that comes with Parallels 9. How do I get the wifi to work?

No separate network connection can be assigned to Virtual Machine. The VM takes the same network in which the Mac is connected.

 

This is the case with Parallels 11 as well. It sets up a shared virtual network, no way to chose the real network, so some apps don't recognize the network, when need to "talk" to other devices on network they are seen as offline, because then Android VM is not on the real network.
