I'm about to order a just released Macbook pro and would like to know if I'd be able to install Windows 7 on it or not...

Hi, Thanks for your answer. But I don't understand: why do you say "....you can't run any Intel OS in a VM...."? I'm currently doing that with my old Macbook Pro. Am I missing somethong..?
 
Hello @ClaudioA5 , Mac M1 machine has ARM based processor. Only ARM based OS support on Mac M1. Windows 7 is Intel based OS. Reach us back for any further queries. Thanks, Parallels Team.
 
Thanks. So, you're saying that ONLY Win 7 or Windows IN GENERAL (10 etc.) cannot run on in VM on a 2021 Macbook Pro...?
 
Rrrright. So:
- I can run Win 7 with Bootcamp on my old 2010 MacbookPro
- I'll be able to run Win 11 on my new 2021 MacbookPro with Parallels
Is that right...?
