Andrew @ Parallels said:VI2 adapter is used for "host-only networking" mode. It is already included into Beta4 but doesn't enabled by default yet. To enable "host-only networking" please read this thread - http://forum.parallels.com/thread726.html.
Serv, This disables the adapter (removes checkmark) but still does NOT delete it from the list. Is there a way to delete it?serv said:vishnunath,
Here's how to disable vi2 in your MacOSX:
- Open "System Preferences"
- Click "Internet & Network" icon
- Select "Network Port Configurations" from the "Show" dropdown
- Select "Ethernet Adaptor (vi2)" in the list
- Click "Delete..." button
- Click "Apply Now"
BTW, there's no reason for virtual adapter (vi2) to interfere with your
AirPort ability to join the network.

sudo rm -rf /System/Library/Extensions/Pvsvnic.kext
then restart your Mac.
