New installation to Linux, Publish a desktop

Hi,

I had no problems installing the Thinclient Server with Linux and getting a VMWare workstation to bootup via PXE and connect to it.

The real problem I have, is now publishing an application. I have no idea on how to do this and the manual that Im looking at, merely states this:

4. 2X ApplicationServer Client for Linux binaries are now installed under:
/opt/2X/applicationserverclient/bin

5. Run the following commands to obtain a list of all usage parameters for
2X ApplicationServer Client:

cd /opt/2X/applicationserverclient/bin

./appserverclient -?

--------------------

So, what I am asking for. Under linux, how can I publish a desktop?

Please note, Im not looking to RDP into an existing desktop. I would like to generate a desktop from the server and have published apps available to me, like citrix.

Can someone please give me step by step instructions or point me to a manual on how to configure this? As when I use the admin web tool, its only for the thin client. Not for configuring the Application server.

the ThinClientOS includes the applicationserver client.

So you simply need to install and configure the ApplicationServer to publish the desktops or the applications you wish .

Then in the thinclient console add the published application profile to your connection.

When the thinclient boots, it will boot to the 2x desktop and display the icons for the published desktop and applications.
