New installation with only 'upgrades'?

Hi,
In 2012 I purchased Parallels Desktop 7. Lateron I bought Upgrade 9 and Upgrade 10. Today I bought Upgrade 11. Soon I will get a new MacBook, so my question is: should I install Desktop 7 and install all the upgrades up to 11?
Is it even possible to install Parallels Desktop 7 on a El Captain OSX machine?
What is the advice of installing Parallels on a new MacBook? I rather do not restore from backup.

Please install Parallels Desktop 11 directly. You can move the license from another Mac as per http://kb.parallels.com/116527 and transfer the virtual machine as per http://kb.parallels.com/114118
