I am a long time Windows User and have a new 13" MacBook Air on the way as my first Mac (1.8 Ghz, 4 Gb Ram, 128 Gb HD). There are several critical pieces of software that I need to run in Windows and am planning on using Windows 7 via parallels. In the beginning, I may spend much of my time in Windows 7, but expect that over time, it will be just for those apps, perhaps in 'coherence mode'.

What do you all recommend as the most reliable way to configure this setup?

Windows 7 in Bootcamp partition and accessed also as a VM or just a VM without Bootcamp?
If not Bootcamped, still in a separate partition?
    Windows 7 32bit or 64 bit?

I've read through many articles, but did not find a straightforward 'best practices' recommendation. Thanks for your help.
