New version of parallels

I recently purchased a full version 10 of parallels for my mac mini. I am currently running version 8 of parallels on the same mini. Do I need to uninstall the previous version of parallels or can I install the new version right over it?

Hi John, You can directly install Parallels Desktop 10 for Mac and it overwrites Parallels Desktop 8.

Hi I purchased Parallels 10 but can only download a trial version of Parallels 11 beta from the download site which wont recognise my activation code .
I want to download and activate Parallels 10 . How do I do this ? Nick
