no boot device with parallels 9 latest

Bit poster
after using P9 (latest version) for 2 months without any problems the shit hit the fan yesterday:

without any troubles on the mac-side (no crash etc.) the same Win7Ulitmate machine which I used at 10:00 didn't find a boot disk at 12:00? In between I turned it of, don't ask me why...

to be honest, this is horror!

I would like to recover from that situation by using my timemachine-backup from sunday - but the same happens with old virtual machine - files, too!

what happened, what for is my backup if such an error cannot be solved by using an older backup where the system was running flawless?

thanks for any help,
Thomas

Hi ThomasCR,

Please follow the steps to resolve the issue ;

Go to Configure of VM ( http://kb.parallels.com/117287 ) > Hardware > Harddisk 1 > change the location from > SATA 0:1 to IDE 0:0

1 Select the source and navigate to the .hdd file located in the pvm.

2 Check [Connected] to connect the hard disk

3 Close the configure menu and start the Windows VM.

Thanks,
Manoj.
