I recently upgraded to Desktop 7. I converted a VM which runs Windows 2000 SP4. The internet connection still works fine after the conversion.
I have also created a new VM, again running Windows 2000 SP4. I cannot get the new VM's internet connection working.
I have compared the network settings of the converted VM and the new one. Both are using shared networking. In both cases the "Connected" box is ticked. The MAC address is different, but the new VM doesn't work even if I copy the address from the settings for the working VM (nor if I generate a fresh address).
I have tried the command "netsh interface reset all" as suggested in an earlier thread, without success.
I have an ethernet connection from my Mac to my router.
Any ideas?
