No internet in Windows 7 Boot Camp and Parallels

I just installed Windows 7 Home on my MacBook Pro onto a new Boot Camp Partition on my MacBook Pro 15". Installed the Mac Boot Camp drivers and the install works great. Can get online, print, everything. Booted to Mac side and installed Parallels 6 and booted off the boot camp partition which showed up automatically in list of Guest Machines. Parallels upgraded the boot camp partition and then automatically installed Parallels Tools. Everything works fine (filesharing, etc.) in Parallels except I cannot get online. When I go to the command line and run ipconfig, it shows that the "media is disconnected".

I have tried with network settings set to both Bridge or NAT in Parallels, uninstalled and reinstalled Parallels Tools numerous times, reinstalled Parallels, booted to Boot Camp and ran Tools installer again, all to no avail. When I boot to bootcamp, network connections and internet work fine. I cannot get the Parallels Machine to even see its network connections.

What am I missing?
 
Hi,

make sure that VM is in Shared Networking mode. If this doesn't help, please click Start -> Run and execute cmd.exe. Type in the appeared window command "ipconfig /all". Then, without closing the window, click Parallels Destkop menu "Help"->"Report a Problem", send a problem report (it is not necessary to provide description) and post here the report ID.

Hi,

I'm having the same problem -- no internet.

The VM says no network hardware found though I selected shared network and ran ipconfig /all.

The problem ID is 7158798
