So, I set up the trial of ApplicationServer and published some apps. They work GREAT with the ApplicationServer client.

However, when I load up a machine on the ThinClient OS it will not pull Published apps from the ApplicationServer.

As soon as I log on I get the error:

No published applications are available (TCSS020)

    I click "Okay"

and then can do NOTHING. I don't even get my Web Browser icon.

Please help. I want this to work. I will BUY THIS if it works!

You might be having some character issues here. Make sure that there are not:
    1. Double byte characters( I don't think you have it though)
    2. Spaces

in 2X console|publishing|Application name and description

    Hope this helps.

The best way to know what is happening is to get a debug of the client, from the thinclientserver, after the error has occurred.

After you get the debug, check it for errors when it is trying to get the application listing. You can also post it here so that we can help you out.

I followed Tom Haskell's suggestions and removed all spaces from the application names and descriptions. Still encountering the error.

I captured a log of the client, hopefully someone here can make sense of it for me. There seems to be a lot of errors in the log, just don't know which are relevant.

    Click for debug_system.log file.

    TCSS020

    Hi MGManess,
I went through the Thinclientserver manual and found this.

TCSS020 No published applications are available.
The user has no published applications available from the Terminal
Server farm. Please check the applications provisioning for the
particular user. Also check that all IP addresses and ports to the
Farm are set correctly and that the username with the given
domain and credentials have access to a set of applications.

Probably, one of the settings while configuring the ThinclientServer does not match with the ApplicationServer.
Such as, whether the port and IP addresses that you have set in the TCS matches the applicationserver.
By the way, does your language use unicode or double byte?

We have checked the published debug log and it seems that your hard disk installation is corrupted.

A simple test would be for you to boot via pxe instead of the hard disk. If the problem disappears then your hard disk installation is at fault.

    no published applications

    Hi MGManess,
You might have already solved the issue but just to let you know that a wrong password can also induce this message. So, make sure that you type in your password correctly.

    Hi
Go to the thinclientserver console and click manage and make sure the publish application is checked.
    That should fix this problem.

    Hi Tom,

I go to console manage and already checked published application but still get the same error before.
