No response to "control + alt + delete" prompt to log-in

When I start-up parallels (running vista) I am prompted to enter "control + alt + delete" to log-in yet I get no response when I hit these buttons.

Have tried to reset the machine, but keep getting this same screen and no response to entering this keystroke.

Any ideas....?

sorry if that's a stupid question, but i don't get it. what button is the send button?

Not button
From menu Action - Send Key- Ctrl+Alt+Delete
If you are using MacBook you need to hold fn key also ( I assume you installed Parallels Tools)
