No sound

I have Parallels Desktop 10 for Mac installed on my macbook.
The sound works fine on the mac side but not on the windows side.
I have checked the sound settings and they all seem ok. The microphone volume registers when I speak into it.
But I can hear nothing through the speakers.
Any advice gratefully received.

Hello Norman, please start your Windows virtual machine and reinstall Parallels Tools from Action->Reinstall Parallels Tools and if the issue persists, please
Open virtual machine's configuration
Switch to Hardware tab > Sound > Set Input to Mute and set Outout to "Build in Output"
