No Wifi Connection on Mac while running Parallels 9

Hello,

Since 2-3 days I am experiencing the following problem:

As soon as I run my Win7 on Parallels 9 on my macbook pro while being connected to a valid wifi connection, my virtual machine is connected and has access to the internet but my mac's connection is becoming instable. It often disconnects and has no connection to the internet.

I am wondering what the reason might be since apparently my notebook is connected to the internet somehow.

System:

Macbook Pro late 2012
Windows 7 Professional
Wifi Connection through installed profile on mac
Parallels9 network settings: Shared controller

Thanks for your reply however I don't use Cisco and don't really know what it is and how to use it.

Hi Mark,

Are you using "shared networking" with your Parallels?
Please check it under Virtual Machine -> Configure...-> Hardware Tab -> Network -> Network type.
If it is bridged, please change it to be Shared.
