No wifi connection on mac while running VM on Parallels

Hello,
Since 2-3 days I am experiencing the following problem:

As soon as I run my Win7 on Parallels 9 on my macbook pro while being connected to a valid wifi connection, my virtual machine is connected and has access to the internet but my mac's connection is becoming instable. It often disconnects and has no connection to the internet.

I am wondering what the reason might be since apparently my notebook is connected to the internet somehow.

System:

Macbook Pro late 2012
Windows 7 Professional
Wifi Connection through installed profile on mac
Parallels9 network settings: Shared controller

Hi Mark,
Please follow the steps suggested below:
1. Download parallels Desktop 9 latest build ( 9.0.24251 ) from www.parallels.com/directdownload/pd9
2. Install Parallels Desktop 9 : http://kb.parallels.com/116989
3. (Re)Install Parallels Tools as suggested at http://kb.parallels.com/4841
4. Shutdown Virtual Machine.
5. Change the network type: Go to VM Configure ( http://kb.parallels.com/117287 ) > Hardware > Network > Select Network type > choose "Default Adapter" > restart Windows and let us know how it goes.
