Possibly a slightly obscure question, this one. I use a couple of programs in Windows under Parallels (Word being one, the other being professional translation software) where I need to be able to insert non-breaking spaces. The keyboard shortcut to insert this character is Ctrl-Shirt-Space. Works fine. Or so I thought… Here's where it gets weird. Usually I have Firefox running in OS X while running Windows (XP Home) in Parallels. For reasons I won't bore you with, I recently decided to try using Chrome instead of Firefox. What I find is that with Chrome running in OS X, the key combination Shift-Ctrl-Space no longer generates a non-breaking space character inside Windows. Any ideas as to how I can overcome this? I really need an easy way to insert a non-breaking space in Windows while running Chrome in OS X. Thanks in advance.
