None of my windows applications will open today

I have paint.net and other Windows applications on my Mac that I was using yesterday with Parallels. Today, none of those will open. The Windows/Parallels screen will open up as a gray screen that says "Windows 7.32 bit" at the top but the other programs do nothing when I click on them to open. It is urgent that I be able to use these for a job I'm working on. Can anyone help?

Try restarting the virtual machine then check. If issues persist, then reset the virtual machine (Actions > Reset).
