Greetings everyone,
I have a problem that I know not how to deal with. My last thread dealt with a simular problem. I was not having enough memoy to install certain software on the windows side. I did get some help. I was instructed to go the the Parallels preferences, set the slider to 1624 which I did.
I then was instructed to go the VM window and under Resources click the underlined MEMORY and set it higher, which I did. I was then abe to install most of the Adobe CS2 suite.
I am now attempting to install Corel Wordperfect. I am now getting the message that 676 mg is required and only 357 mg is available, which leaves a difference of 320 mg. Under disk space the it reads 7985 mg. Is it possible to set the memory higher so that I can install Wordperfect and other software in the future. In the VM preferences I changed the MEMORY setting from 940 to 1500 still with no success.
I have a MB pro with 2 gigs of memory. I'm not really as in the know as I should be about memory sizes, but I have been told that the 2 gigs that I have should be plenty. What do I do, where do I go in order to allocate more memory?
Thanks for any help that I can get.
