I'm trying to install Ubuntu 18.04 arm 64 on a new Mac Book with the M1 chip (10 Cores, 64 GB RAM) I select the image, to install a HD with enough space and a disabled CD ROM (as I'm using the image) When I boot the VM, the installation sequence starts: I select install the Ubuntu Server Select the language Select the country Select the locales Select the keyboard and than the installation stalls, with a message indicating that it cannot mount the CD ROM. Why is that? The start of the installation is already happening. Thanks for any help.
Yes, it is not possible to install Ubuntu 18.04 out of the box, just because there is no storage drivers for SATA https://forum.parallels.com/threads...tall-ubuntu-18-04-server-arm64-failed.353695/
