Office 365 setup - nothing happens after clicking on .exe

Hello, I have Win 10 pro installed on a Macbook pro, I am able to install programs just fine except for Office 365. Whenever I run the setup (tried 32 and 64 but) nothing happens. Tried isolating Parallels, tried compatibility troubleshooting but nothing happens.

There is something in the event viewer under application error:
Faulting application name Setup.X86.en-us_O365Pro.......
Exception Code: 0xc0000005
Fault Offset: 0x0004f96d
Faulting process id: 0x1d28

Hi Maria, thanks for the reply, I don't believe that is the same issue. I am not able to get Word/Office to install in the first place.

I download the setup.exe installer from portal.office.com and when I click on it nothing happens. My next step is going to be to try with the office deployment tool if I can't find any thing else.

Hi, I recommend you to move the installer file to Windows desktop screen. Make a right-click on it and select 'Run as Administrator'.
