Hi all, first post,
I have a Macbook Pro 15" i7 on order. I will need to run Win 7 on it, and am trying to decide on 3 options:
1 - Bootcamp only;
2 - Parallels 6 only;
3 - Both of the above (I know about the activation keys issues, I may prefer not use that);
4 - A competitor VM software (obviously, I am thinking Fusion)
My main decision factor is the ability of supporting Offline Files, with folder redirection.
My setup is a NAS (ReadyNAS Pro) that I use to store the My Documents folder (redirected). My current Windows 7 laptop connects to the network and syncs the files I changed to the NAS while I was away.
I read that Parallels 5 does not let Windows do this, at least not in a linear, trouble free way. Does Parallels 6 explicitly support Offline Files?
