Open .DWG files from finder Problem

Everytime I try to open a dwg file directly from the finder to open with autocad a message dispalys:

Cannot find the selected drawing file.
Make sure the network unit is available and that the file exists.

Then the open file dialog opens to reselect the file.

This happens only when i open them from the finder by double clicking the icon or by selecting open with, I havent experienced problems by opening them from the windows explorer. Any toughts???

I've made an extensive search in the forum on this problem but never found a thread about it, I hope there is a solution its the only thing that keeps me from buying the licence (I'm on trial version)

I'm Using:
Parallels Desktop 5 for Mac
Mac Os X 10,5,8
Windows 7
Autocad 2010

Mac OS X cannot find any files associated with .dwg file extension. Thus, you have to enable Shared Applications in VM's Configuration and associate .dwg file with AutoCAD by right-clicking it, selecting Open with... , Other... and selecting AutoCAD in Windows Applications folder.
 
I´ve done that already, I´ve also managed to add the file type to the smartselect feature but im still unable to open the file directly from finder, seems like the problem is only for autocad because i can open any other file type like the office documents.

can you please sent us problem report at the moment when error message appears? Help > Report a problem. A report will be generated and sent, please post its ID here. We could reproduce the issue, but need more details on your configuration.
 
I have a Macbook Pro running AUTOCAD and I have the same problem with opening a file on the "Mac side" of the computer. On the Windows side I can only open an AUTOCAD file through Explorer, not through AUTOCAD. I am running MAC V6, Windows 7 and AUTOCAD LT 2010. The Sharing configurations engaged for all drives. Does anyone know what the problem is?

Hope you've solved the problem by now. I could never open .dwg files from the Mac finder. I always had to run Parallels, start Windows 7 and then AutoCAD and then open the files from the Z: drive.

I use:

Parallels 6 for Mac
Windows 7
AutoCAD LT 2010

on a new Macbook Pro 15"

It's worked well until last week, when I upgraded Parallels and now cannot saveas or sometimes even save .dwg files. Awaiting tech support call in a few minutes. Wish me luck!
