Opening Powerpoint files

Hi THere, I'm running Parallels 7 on MBPro running Office MAC 2011. When i try to open a pdf or powerpoint file from a flash enabled page (in coherence mode or any mode) it opens safari and doesn't open powerpoint or pdf.... I did have this working fine - but not sure what has changed. Any pointers ?

Hi

please follow below steps.

open Registry Editor (Start → Run... → type regedit → click OK )
In the Registry Editor please expand HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT and find appropriate file extension and click it. For example, for PDF files - .pdf
In the right pane right-clcik on (Deafult) and select Delete. The value pdf_auto_file will go away.

You can try the Classic PDF editor to create, convert and edit your PDF files in just a few clicks. I hope it works for you and you are able to deal properly with your PDF issues.
