OpenOffice.org (on Windows 2000) Fails to Open with Parallels Wokstation Beta2

I have a Windows 2000 VM (with all services packs and patches installed) running in Parallels Workstation Beta2 (Build1658.30).

I downloaded and installed OpenOffice 2.0 (bundled with the JRE). I installed only Writer and Calc (as those are the only two apps I need). Whenever I try to start Writer or Calc, OpenOffice crashes before it can even display an empty document. Its subsequent attempts to recover are also unsuccessful.

Is anyone successfully using OpenOffice in a Windows 2000 VM?
 
It's working with Beta3 (Build 1658.42)

I updgraded from Beta2 to Beta3, uninstalled OpenOffice, restarted Windows 2000, and reinstalled OpenOffice. All is well.
