When I was messing with SuSE I found that things worked much better after I installed the OpenSuSE Parallels tools(once they got the tools straightened out). There were some issues with mouse movement, but all in all it was ok. I gave up on it since I am a long time Debian user and prefer Debian based distro such as Mint or Debian itself.
