Option to Shut down VM on Parallels Desktop quit

To update an installed app I needed to reclaim some disk space via Parallels. The app then updated fine. I ticked the box instructing the computer to reclaim available disk space upon Windows shut-down. However, this has to be done separately to Parallels, meaning that closing down is now a 2-stage process, Windows first, then Parallels 2nd. There are options for closing down but none allow Parallels to close Windows down when Parallels closes. Is it possible for this option to be implemented so that a single action will close both items, allowing windows to reclaim available disk space each time? I realise that this will increase the time taken when re-opening Parallels as Windows will need to start up again but the advantages may outweigh that inconvenience.

Hi ColinO,
When you quit Parallels Desktop, it closes VMs as if you close them as windows.
So in VM settings, you can change On Window Close: Shutdown, and then quit Parallels Desktop will lead to the shutdown of virtual machines.

Thanks Alev, that option was previously set on "Suspend" to allow quick shut-down and open times. I've just given you're suggestion a try and it does recover disk space so long as I can put up with the time it takes. Alternatively I'll just go back to "Suspend" and reclaim the disk space when it needs it, which hopefully shouldn't be too often. Many thanks.
